NAFA Bulletin

LATEST NAFA BULLETIN:

As announced at the last Choc Tops meeting,
the first NAFA Script-screen workshop for 2007 will start on Monday 12 March.
This NEW LOOK workshop aims to bring together all 3 elements from the NAFA group, i.e. writers, actors & filmmakers.

How it benefits:

> Writers: practice pitching; have actors read your script; get feedback from fellow writers; seek interest from film producers.

> Actors: practice cold reads; take direction; have first look at upcoming projects; network with filmmakers.

> Filmmakers: evaluate upcoming scripts & express your interest – want to direct? produce? camera? sound? edit? compose? Other?

Filmmakers Show & Tell

It's SHOW TIME!

Time to give short films the interactive treatment that only Show-Fest can!

Although a short film can be submitted to any number of film festivals, TV or online, nothing beats the Show & Tell format for which Show-Fest has become well known. Not your typical short film fest, be prepared to share your filmmaking stories, compare notes and lessons learnt. Also instead of anonymity, we want to see everyone involved, inviting all cast & crew for the Q & A. In addition, this is a competitive fest with audience voting and prizes. In the past, outstanding films have premiered at Show-Fest that would travel further afield to win at international fests.

So submit your film, we promise it will be scrutinised by industry VIPs, film peers and the adoring public.

Deadline: 2 April 2007
